Barefoot Beach

Barefoot Beach is a gorgeous stretch of beach at the northwestern most part of Collier County. Car access from Bonita Beach Rd takes you alongside some of the largest and most expensive houses anywhere in the area.

An $8 entrance fee or a Collier County parking permit gets you in to the park, but even the $8 is worth it. If you enjoy your beaches a bit more on the secluded, natural side, this is the spot for you. There is even a nature trail that goes through to Wiggins Pass. If you don't mind a walk, you can find a place to plop yourself on the beach where you won't seen more than a dozen people all day--a rarity on easily accessible beaches anywhere in Florida. There are three parking areas, with the entrance to the wilderness trail at the end of the 3rd.
